Lockheed Martin Closes Out Winning Week with 2 Navy Contracts

According to the Department of Defense, “Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is being awarded a $96, 974, 397 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-09-C-5110) for the definitization of the production of the DDG 113 Aegis weapon system (including a multi-mission signal processor [MMSP]); an additional MMSP for the Surface Combat System Center on Wallops Island, Va.; DDG 114-115 advanced procurement efforts; and associated technical services.  Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J. (87 percent), and Clearwater, Fla. (13 percent), and is expected to be completed by October 2014.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., is the contracting activity.

“Lockheed Martin is being awarded a $9, 979, 815 firm-fixed-price contract for specialized test equipment required to perform depot-level repairs to the MH-60 common cockpit avionics suite, including artisan training, two operator control panels, and one universal power supply tester.  Work will be performed in Owego, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in January 2013.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-11-C-0050).”
