L-3 Soars with Half-Billion Dollar Army Aircraft Deal

L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) signed a deal with the U.S. Army to provide life-cycle contractor support (LCCS) for C-12, RC-12 and UC-35 aircraft.

The deal has a five-year plus options, with options, with a value of $440 million.

“L-3 SFS is pleased to be selected by the Army to provide turnkey LCCS for this critically important Army aviation program, ” said Ed Gloviak, president of L-3 Systems Field Support. “The success of the Army’s mission is critical to national security, and this award is a testament to our 35-year history of providing the highest quality aviation maintenance and supply chain support for our customers.”
