SAIC Scores Quarter-Billion Dollar DLA Deal

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) has been awarded a prime contract by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) – Land and Maritime, Columbus, Ohio to support the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD), Anniston, Ala., the Red River Army Depot (RRAD), Texarkana, Texas, and other U.S. military customers.

According to the firm, “the single award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a four year base period of performance, two two-year options and a total contract ceiling of $241 million. Work will be performed primarily at ANAD and RRAD.”

“We look forward to working side-by-side with our customers at ANAD and RRAD, efficiently and cost-effectively distributing products directly to vehicle maintenance lines, enabling the repair of critical assets without delay in support of DLA’s mission, ” said Glenn San Giacomo, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.
