CSC’s Robert Wah Named to AMA Board of Trustees, Mike Gaffney Comments

CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced Dr. Robert Wah, chief medical officer and vice president of CSC’s North American Public Sector line of business, was named as chair-elect of the American Medical Association (AMA) Board of Trustees for the 2010-2011 year.

According to the firm, “he will become chair of the board in June 2011. The elections were held at the recent Annual Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates in Chicago, Ill.”

“We congratulate Robert on his achievement and wish him success as he promotes the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health, ” said Mike Gaffney, president of CSC’s North American Public Sector Civil and Health Services group. “This esteemed position is a testament to Robert’s dedication and commitment to transforming healthcare with better information for better decisions, which is at the heart of CSC’s government health services and solutions.”
