UPDATED: Bill Bodie Resigns from KBR

KBR (NYSE:KBR) official Bill Bodie will be resigning his position as head of North American Government and Defense, according to a source inside the company.

KBR issued the following statement to GovCon Wire: “Bill Bodie has tendered his resignation, effective May 14. He is leaving KBR for a role with another company in the industry.”

Bodie had been with KBR since March 2005 serving as Senior VP of Customer Relations and Strategy. During his time with KBR, Bodie has overseen liason activities with G&I’s customers throughout the world, as well as being responsible for business development, marketing, government affairs and internal communications.
Prior to joining KBR, Bodie served as the first Communications Director for the U.S. Air Force from 2001 – 2004 and VP of Defense Programs at DFI International, a major analytical services firm for the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the U.S. Military.

Bodie was also a Senior Fellow at the National Defense University, the nation’s highest institution for professional military education, where he authored numerous articles for publication and essays on national security and emerging markets. He holds a Master’s Degree in politics from NYU and a Bachelor’s in history from Columbia.
