General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) won a task order to support the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The task order has an initial value of $16 million with a maximum value of $84 million for five years if all options are exercised.
“VIPS has partnered with CMS since 2005 to sustain a critical program that supports our country’s retirees with prescription health coverage, ” said Marcus Collier, senior vice president of General Dynamics Information Technology’s Civilian/Homeland Security Solutions division. “Our proven track record for delivery and performance has assisted CMS in the overall success of the Retiree Drug Subsidy program.”
