Ericsson Federal’s Doug Smith on Naming David Brager CTO

Ericsson Federal has hired David Brager to the position of chief technology officer.  In this role, Brager will develop and lead EFI’s technology strategy to ensure its product development, technical innovations and strategic partnerships are meeting federal customer requirements.

According to Ericsson, Brager will focus on current and emerging technologies and trends, couple this insight with Ericsson’s capabilities and business strategies, and translate the information into solutions that meet the needs of EFI’s government customers.

“The U.S. government continues to increase its investment in broadband and is looking to maximize its use of advanced communications technologies available in the commercial market,” said EFI President and CEO Doug Smith. “Dr. Brager’s depth and breadth of experience will allow EFI to deliver unparalleled technological expertise and serve as the communications partner of choice to the government.”
