News- Vangent Announces 12 Percent Growth Rate in Third Quarter

Vangent, Inc. has announced it’s third quarter financial results for 2009. For the quarter ending in September 2009, Vangent recorded $149.4 million in revenue, a twelve percent increase from the same time period the previous year.

One of the largest contributors to the total revenue was the Government Group, whose revenue increased 16 percent or $17.8 million. The Government Group recently won contract awards with the Department of Transportation, the Department of Education and DoD’s Military Health System. Total new business awards throughout the company accounted for $111.6 million. Mac Curtis, President and CEO, said “Vangent delivered strong revenue performance this quarter with solid overall growth in the Government Group. We were particularly pleased with the continuing growth of our Military Health business which has grown to over $165 million in two years.
