SAIC’s Senior VP, Robert Bell, was elected the Chairman of NATO’s Industrial Advisory Group on Thursday. Bell will be the first US executive to chair the group since the late 1990s.
The group is an advisory body to NATO’s Conference of National Armaments Directors. The group is responsible for providing an open forum for discussion, providing industry advice and exploring opportunities for international cooperation. Bell has been actively involved in SAIC’s relationship with NATO of the past several years. He has also worked at NATO headquarters in the past. Senior VP and business unit general manager, Beverly Seay, said about Bell’s appointment, “It is a testament to the contributions he has made during his career to furthering NATO’s mission and to his capabilities as an effective leader and collaborator. We look forward to supporting him in this new role.”
